Wentworth Miller caught my eye after I saw the first episode of the new tv series "Prison Break." I really enjoy his show. I had a chance to catch Wentworth in "The Human Stain" on Encore and he and Anna Deavere Smith gave the best performances in the movie. Wentworth is very handsome!!!! He's had over 450 auditions since moving to Los Angeles. Hopefully being in "Prison Break" will give him more exposure and more film offers.
Wentworth Miller was born in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England, UK on June 2, 1972. His father Wentworth Earl Miller II, a Rhodes Scholar, is black and his mom, Joy Palm is white. When he was young Wentworth's family moved to Brooklyn, New York. Right before his senior year in high school Wentworth and his family moved to Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Wentworth graduated from Quaker Valley Sr. High School in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania and would later graduate from Princeton University in 1995 majoring in English Literature. He also sang in college and traveled the world performing with the school's famed accapela group, the Princeton Tigertones.
After graduating from Princeton he moved to Los Angeles. He worked in office jobs in the entertainment industry and he temped at Borders Bookstore. He also worked as a production associate for several television movies.
Wentworth made his professional acting debut in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." He also made guest appearances in "Popular," "ER," "Time of Your Life," "Joan of Arcadia" and "Ghost Whisperer." He currently stars in the FOX series "Prison Break."
Wentworth starred in the ABC miniseries "Dinotopia" and he starred in the feature films "The Human Stain" and "Underworld."
Wentworth recently appeared in Mariah Carey's latest music videos for "It's Like That" and "We Belong Together."
